Who is PayDocs for?
Small employers, household employers (nannies, carers, cleaners), and owners who pay themselves a salary through their own company. Only enter real figures from payroll you are authorized to prepare.
What is the difference between a pay stub and a payslip?
They are the same kind of document. “Pay stub” is the US term and “payslip” the UK one, and the contents differ: a US pay stub shows federal and state withholding, a UK payslip shows PAYE and National Insurance. PayDocs has a separate generator for each.
Does PayDocs calculate taxes?
No. You enter each amount from your own payroll record, including taxes withheld. PayDocs adds up the totals, net pay and year to date, and lays the document out clearly.
Can I make a pay stub for my nanny or carer?
Yes, if you employ them and run their pay. Enter the figures from your payroll for each pay period and give them the pay stub or payslip on payday.
Is my information stored?
While you create and preview, your figures stay in your browser. They are only stored if you save a draft to your own workspace, where only members of your organization can see them.
Can I print the documents?
Yes. Every layout is designed as a printable page, and the Minimal layout uses no filled blocks, so it prints cleanly on any printer.
Can I use a PayDocs document as proof of income?
No. PayDocs does not verify employment, certify income, or guarantee that a lender, landlord or agency will accept a document.
